American Music Awards predictions 2018: Full racetrack odds in all 29 AMAs categories

The 2018 American Music Awards will be presented on Tuesday night, October 9, and we think we know who will win in all 29 categories, from Artist of the Year all the way down to Tour of the Year. Scroll down to see our complete predictions in all categories. Nominees are listed in order of their racetrack odds with the projected winners highlighted in gold.

To generate our racetrack odds, we received input from hundreds of Gold Derby users who made their picks here in our predictions center. That includes some of our savviest users who really have their fingers on the pulse of the AMAs: our Top 24 Users got the highest scores predicting last year’s awards, while our All-Star Top 24 got the highest scores when you factor in predictions from the last two years, so their forecasts carry more weight when calculating our odds.

The winners are decided by fans voting online, so these kudos are all about who has the most active and dedicated fan bases. It’s no wonder then, that Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and One Direction have all won Artist of the Year multiple times. Swift actually holds the record for Artist of the Year with three wins, and this year she could win it for the fourth time, but the top contenders when nominations were announced were actually hip-hop artists Drake and Cardi B with eight bids apiece.
